ABOUT OUR CRASSULA HOBBIT
Hi there, I’m Jade. I’m the Crassula hobbit or otherwise known as the Jade plant, money tree or lucky plant. I’m a type of succulent that can hold water in my leaves for a very long time. You can find me in almost any indoor space from Canada to Australia. I have full looking teardrop foliage with a humble brown branch. I’d say I’m one of the most commonly owned houseplants and I believe no indoor space is complete without me. Not only am I absolutely stunning but I’m also very low maintenance and won’t take much work to keep my foliage looking its best.
In my natural habitat of Mozambique and South Africa you can find me in a desert-like environment. Out here I enjoy the hot sun and dry climate with the other 1000 species of Jade plant. My species comes in all shapes and sizes with some species being very rare and incredibly expensive. In the perfect environment some Jade plants can reach up to 2 metres tall.
My coin-shaped foliage is a symbol of good luck and often given as a gift for financial luck. As an added bonus; You don’t need to be a plant expert to keep me happy.
Small Height (including nursery pot) 35cm; pot diameter 15cm.
